Inflammingo shares the inspirational story of Sherry Pierce Hartfield’s life perspective in the face of inflammatory breast cancer. Sherry, a retired school principal, prayed for her next platform to help others. She got her stage; it just happened to be Stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer. This Jackson, Mississippi, educator teaches others about the power of perspective and choice in the face of tremendous adversity. Where inspiration meets information, this film details the deadliest, most aggressive form of breast cancer—one that has no form of early detection, does not show up on a mammogram, and most often presents as a rash.

“Push everything you think you know about breast cancer out of your mind.”

Terry Arnold, The IBC Network Foundation

“Having been diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer and learning personally what a challenging disease it is, I realized that things were not going to change unless there was somebody making noise.”
